The C Cases team defends Kirill Pavlov in a dispute with Anzhelika Epikhova over a cancelled giveaway featuring Gianluca Vacchi
18 June 2026C Cases lawyers representing Kirill Pavlov before the Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow secured the dismissal of blogger Anzhelika Epikhova's claim for RUB 2 million, interest and legal costs.
In 2021, Anzhelika Epikhova transferred her share of the funds to Artem Savkin and Kirill Pavlov under a cooperation agreement. The purpose of their arrangement was a giveaway to be held by the Italian businessman and blogger Gianluca Vacchi, who later withdrew from his obligations because of the start of the special military operation. As a result, she went to court seeking to recover from the defendants the debt under the agreement, interest for the use of another person's money, and her legal and state duty costs.
The C Cases team proved in court that there was no evidence of improper performance of obligations by Kirill Pavlov. At the same time, the sanctions restrictions caused by force majeure, which affected the possibility of carrying out the project with the foreign blogger, were objective in nature. Nor could they be grounds for recovering the amounts claimed, since liability cannot be imposed for the actions of a third party. In addition, the claimant could prove neither unlawful withholding of funds or abuse by Kirill Pavlov nor the amount of the alleged debt.
As a result, on 18 June 2026 the Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow dismissed Anzhelika Epikhova's claim in full.
