C Cases at the Federal Chamber of Advocates conference on invalid transactions in bankruptcy

4 May 2026

On 29 April 2026, C Cases partner Yaroslav Knyazhev took part in the conference "Invalid Transactions in Bankruptcy" organised by the Federal Chamber of Advocates of the Russian Federation and the Council of Young Advocates of the Moscow Region.

The event took place at the premises of the Council of the Federal Chamber of Advocates in Moscow. Participants included advocates, insolvency practitioners and academics specialising in bankruptcy.

The programme covered a wide range of topical issues: challenging alimony agreements and marriage contracts, payments to affiliated persons and legal services agreements, as well as asset-stripping tools such as employment contracts and "mirror" business structures. During the discussion, participants exchanged case law on the most contentious categories of debtor transactions.

Challenging transactions in bankruptcy is one of the key areas of C Cases' work. Taking part in professional events of this level allows the team to maintain an expert dialogue with colleagues and keep track of current trends in law enforcement.
